Caesars Entertainment Inc. announced Tuesday morning an upgrade to its Caesars Palace Online Casino app, promising a new look, new games, and enhanced navigation.

In the highly competitive — and for industry leaders, highly lucrative — online casino space, innovation is imperative, and Caesars has clearly placed a major emphasis on iCasino since rebranding as Caesars Palace Online Casino last August.

“We take pride in setting industry standards in everything we do, and the online casino experience we provide to our players is no exception,” Matthew Sunderland, senior vice president and chief iGaming officer at Caesars Digital, said in a press release. “The newly upgraded Caesars Palace Online Casino app delivers on our player promise to raise the bar in terms of functionality, ease of use, and enjoyability. This new mobile app strengthens our ability to provide our players with an experience that is fully customized to their online play habits while leveraging our unrivaled Caesars brands and omnichannel experiences that can’t be matched.”

The Caesars iCasino product is available on iOS or Android in the regulated markets of New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Michigan, and West Virginia, as well as Ontario, Canada.

      Five focal points

According to the press announcement, the new design is “modeled after a real-life casino floor layout with areas devoted to specific game types.”

Caesars is highlighting five specific enhancements:

Multi-lobby navigation: Users have the “innovative ability to explore curated lobbies that house popular game concepts together, including slots, table games, Live Dealer, and more.”

An experience “For You”: A “For You” tab allows players to pick up where they left off in their previous sessions. Somewhat like the leading streaming TV apps, it both highlights games you’ve recently played as well as recommended games based on your history.

Lightning-fast functionality: Caesars is boasting unparalleled app speed, including “near-instant” loading times in the lobby and elsewhere on the app. An enhanced search tool also speeds up the process for users looking for a specific title or general type of game.

An eye-catching customized interface: According to the release, “The natively built interface provides the familiar feel of a best-in-class iGaming product while leaning into modern design and providing a uniquely innovative layout.”

New game pipeline: Through partnerships with various game developers and providers, Caesars Palace Online Casino is promising an influx of new titles as well as player promotions. The company specifically highlights the newly launched Caesars Palace Frenzy, produced by Games Global, and the popular Caesars Cleopatra, by IGT.

“Caesars Palace Online Casino’s refresh is centered around giving our online casino players an experience that stands out from the ordinary,” said Caesars Digital Vice President of Product, iGaming Michael Mastrangelo. “Our new mobile app redefines the online casino player experience with seamless functionality and product innovations that are brand new to the industry.”
