Fanatics Betting and Gaming announced Friday it has launched Fanatics Casino as a standalone app for internet casino play in New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Michigan and West Virginia, raising the profile of its platform.
A web version of Fanatics Casino was also launched Friday in West Virginia, and desktop play will soon be available in the three large-market states. The standalone app means users who are interested in playing internet casino games no longer have to navigate their way to the iGaming lobby via Fanatics’ mobile sports betting app.

As part of the launch, Fanatics customers can play throughout May and June for their chance to win a share of $2 million in FanCash. Every Thursday during the two months beginning next week, Fanatics will draw winners and drop a share of $250,000 into their player accounts. One winner will be selected each week to claim a top prize of $25,000.
FanCash comes to the casino
Internet casino players will now be able to utilize the FanCash rewards system for casino play as opposed to only the sports betting app. The casino credit has a 50% proration with a one-time playthrough, meaning every dollar of FanCash is worth 50 cents of casino credit and a customer only has to wager that 50 cents one time for winnings to become available for withdrawal.
The FanCash balance is visible to users on the upper right corner of the screen underneath their overall cash balance. The balance updates constantly during game play.
Additionally, Fanatics Casino will offer boosted FanCash promotions on select titles as it continues to expand its library of offerings. Players can continue to use FanCash for things including amplified earning tiers, merchandise, and experiences such as Fanatics Fest.
Another new feature on the casino app is the ability to pre-buy a package of spins at a discounted rate. There is also a VIP program that will give players early access to high-limit play throughout the platform. Fire Roulette and Blackjack continue to be the top offerings from the Fanatics Game Studio, and deals with developers including IGT, Play Digital, Evolution, White Hat Studio, and Light and Wonder provide players with well-established and popular gaming titles that include 88 Fortunes and Cash Eruption.
Fanatics Casino will be offering live-studio games through its partnership with Evolution, which is also providing Lightning Roulette among its online slots offerings.
Timing is everything
Fanatics Casino is launching the standalone app at a time when internet casino revenue is surging in all seven states where it is legal, showing consistent double-digit, year-over-year growth for operators.
Its platform prior to this enhancement had been gaining market share in states where individual operator revenue figures are published. Fanatics had all-time monthly revenue highs in March in Michigan ($9.2 million) and New Jersey ($5.3 million). As part of the PENN Entertainment casino tethers in Pennsylvania and West Virginia, Fanatics contributed to all-time monthly high revenue totals for both licensees in March.
