The Pennsylvania Gaming Control Board on Thursday reported $212.6 million in adjusted gross online casino revenue for June, capping a fiscal year of substantial growth.
June’s revenue total represented a 32.3% increase from last year as the Keystone State cleared $200 million in operator AGR for the eighth consecutive month. The gross revenue total of $262.5 million was up 35.7% compared to June 2024.
The state’s portion of taxes totaled $62.2 million, and coffers have seen an inflow of $386.3 million in the first half of 2025. The $716.9 million in state taxes raised for Fiscal Year 2025 was up $165.2 million from FY 2024.
The $544.7 million in total gaming revenue for June when including brick-and-mortar casinos, iGaming, sports betting, video gaming terminals (VGTs), and fantasy sports was up 15.4% from 12 months prior.
More FY 2025 numbers
The $2.48 billion in total adjusted gross online casino revenue — slots, table games, and poker rake — for FY 2025 surpassed the $2.36 billion in gross operator winnings for FY 2024.
The $3.1 billion in gross revenue marked a 31.8% surge from FY 2024 as all-time operator revenue since the first wagers were taken in July 2019 edged over $10 billion. The $1.65 billion claimed the first half of 2025 was a 32.3% increase from January-June 2024.
The total drop for all online gaming the last 12 months climbed 21.4% to $83.1 billion, an increase of $14.7 billion. Overall wagering cleared $7 billion each of the last seven months, and all-time drop since launch will surpass $300 billion in July.
Penn still tops, FanDuel keeps coming
The multiple online casino skins under the Penn National banner, which includes DraftKings and BetMGM, led all licensees in revenue with $81 million. It was a 35.5% increase from last year and marked its fourth straight month with at least $80 million in winnings.
The strong June also put Penn on pace to reach $1 billion in AGR for 2025, having totaled $501.9 million in the first six months. That is up 29.6% from the same period in 2024.
FanDuel Casino‘s 56.5% surge in June revenue to $59.4 million pushed its streak with at least $55 million AGR to seven months, though it came up $629,000 short of a fourth straight month with $60 million. The first six months of 2025 have seen FanDuel post a 38% increase in revenue to $369.3 million.
That performance widened the gap between itself and third-place BetRivers, whose $35.2 million in June winnings was up 14.8% year-over-year. Rush Street operated in a narrow yet consistent band of growing revenue the first half of 2025, with a low point of $34.3 million in February and peak of $38.6 million in March. The $216.3 million in revenue for this year is up 17.4% compared to the first six months of 2024.
Caesars Palace Online made it four months in a row with an eight-figure revenue haul at $10.6 million. That was an increase of 17.5% from June 2024, and the $62.7 million accumulated in the first half of 2025 was up 9.8% versus the same period in 2024.
BetPARX was the only other online platform to surpass $5 million AGR in June, reporting 26.2% growth to $5.2 million. Golden Nugget Online ($4.8 million) and Live! Philadelphia ($4.8 million) came close, but Golden Nugget was the only operator to post a loss in any of the online verticals as bettors came out $30,068 ahead on $85.8 million drop in table games play.
