One, two, three, and to the four, Snoop Doggy Dogg is knocking on the gambling door.
Well, the sweepstakes door, at least, as it was announced Thursday the longtime rapper, Martha Stewart bestie, and weed connoisseur has opened up Dogg House Casino, a free-to-play online casino.
The casino also operates under the sweepstakes model, but doesn’t offer that form of play in California, Connecticut, Idaho, Louisiana, Maryland, Michigan, Montana, Nevada, New Jersey, New York, or Tennessee. It is available to play for fun, though, in all 50 states.
Working with Trivelta, a global iGaming technology provider, the site features a full suite of casino games, from blackjack to slots to everything else. And Snoop is a key feature in all of it; for instance, he’s the dealer in blackjack.
Bow wow wow yippie yo yippie always hit on a soft 17 when the dealer is showing a 10.
“For the first time, players can step into a casino built exactly the way I wanted it,” Snoop Dogg said in a release hyping the casino. “The music, the vibe, the games. I wanted something innovative, immersive, and fun, and Trivelta worked with Deathrow Games to help me bring that to life.”
What sets this apart from other free-to-play, sweepstakes, or any other type of online casino?
It’s all about Snoop.
Bow wow
Unlike traditional online casinos, Dogg House Casino features what the company calls an industry-first audio environment mastered by Snoop himself. Using all original music and beats, it’s a soundscape for sipping on gin and juice while you’re trying to hit that inside straight.
The visual experience matches the vibe, with custom graphics inspired by Snoop’s West Coast aesthetic and playful takes on classic games.
“It’s rare to work with an artist who is this deeply involved in the product,” said Carson Hubbard, CEO of Trivelta. “Snoop shaped the look, sound, and feel of Dogg House Casino to create something that sits at the intersection of iGaming, music, and culture.”
Among the highlights: Snoop Crazy Dogg Cross, an arcade-style game where you guide Snoop as he drives his ’64 Impala across a busy Los Angeles highway. Snoop Dogg Poker lets you play with friends, join public tables for a chance to face off with Snoop himself, or host private games for your own Dogg House. And Snoop Dogg Radio offers original music and lyrics with new drops planned regularly.
Beyond the Snoop-specific offerings, the platform boasts more than 500 games across slots, crash games, RNG table games, and 24/7 live dealer experiences including blackjack, roulette, baccarat, and craps.
