In a press release issued Monday, U.K.-based betting giant bet365 announced the official launch of its online casino and sportsbook platforms in Pennsylvania, through a partnership with Presque Isle Downs Casino, located in Erie. This follows last week’s soft launch, which ran from Tuesday through Thursday.

“We are looking forward to our partnership with the world’s largest online gambling company. bet365 will bring a unique betting experience for online gamblers throughout all of Pennsylvania,” commented Gary Hendricks, vice president and general manager of Presque Isle Downs & Casino.

“With a venerable history saturated with numerous championships, intense rivalries, and legendary athletes, Pennsylvania’s sports passion is undeniably Never Ordinary,” wrote a bet365 spokesperson in the press release. “We enthusiastically welcome new and eligible bettors from Philadelphia, Pittsburgh, and the entire Keystone State as they join the bet365 experience, which features market-leading offerings like amazing Bet Boosts, the fastest In-Game product, and unique Same Game Parlays.”

Pennsylvania gamblers can now register for both the bet365 Sportsbook and bet365 Casino. Each site welcomes customers with special deals, including “Bet $5 and Get $150 in Bonus Bets” plus 50 spins for new sports customers, and a 100% deposit match bonus plus 100 free spins for casino players.

It’s important to note that these bonuses come with terms and conditions attached.

      bet365’s US expansion continues

With its arrival in Pennsylvania, the bet365 sportsbook is now available in 11 states. The company made its U.S. debut in 2018 when it launched in New Jersey in partnership with Hard Rock Hotel and Casino in Atlantic City.

Following this, bet365 Colorado opened in 2022, followed by Ohio, Virginia, Iowa, Kentucky, and Louisiana in 2023. So far in 2024, bet365 has continued its expansion, launching in Indiana, Arizona, and North Carolina.

Meanwhile, the bet365 online casino platform is available only in Pennsylvania and New Jersey, two of the seven states where online casinos are legally permitted.

Not finished making news, on Tuesday, bet365 and casino game provider White Hat Studios announced a partnership to launch games together in Pennsylvania, including branded titles like Peaky Blinders™, Bankin’ Bacon™, and Wolf Legend™ Megaways™.

“White Hat Studios is always considering new opportunities to work with the market’s leading brands. It is part of our House of Brands strategy, which helps us solidify our U.S. presence,” Daniel Lechner, SVP of sales and marketing at White Hat Studios, told Casino Reports. “bet365 is among the most respected platforms in North America, so it was a natural progression for us to provide its players with access to our portfolio of immersive branded content. Our unique and exciting gameplay engages players and brings them closer to their favorite brands. So partnering up with prominent operators like Bet365 enables us to supply our distinctive product portfolio to as many players as possible across the U.S.”

White Hat’s games are already available in Pennsylvania, and the company says the “titles are already resonating well with players.” After launching in Rhode Island when America’s smallest state launched its online casino market in March of this year, White Hat Studios became the first supplier to go live in all seven regulated iGaming states in the U.S.
