The New Jersey Division of Gaming Enforcement reported on Tuesday $253 million in online casino revenue for November as platforms in the Garden State crested one quarter of a billion dollars for the second consecutive month.
The figure was short of October’s record $260.3 million, but still 18.2% higher compared to last year. New Jersey iGaming operators had been flirting with the $250 million benchmark for much of 2025 before the breakthrough.
The $2.64 billion in revenue heading into the final month of the year exceeds the full-year 2024 total of $2.39 billion, with the year-to-date total up 22.2% versus the first 11 months of last year. New Jersey operators have surpassed $200 million in revenue for 16 consecutive months, clearing that benchmark for the first time in September 2024.
The state came within $7,200 of $50 million in tax receipts for the month as the 19.75% rate that took effect at the start of the new fiscal year July 1 continues to make an impact. The $247.7 million remitted the first five months of Fiscal Year 2025-26 is up $93.2 million from July through November of last year.
New Jersey gaming revenue totaled $636.2 million in November, up 14.2% from last year. Online casino was the biggest source of operator winnings, followed by Atlantic City brick-and-mortar casinos ($236.8 million) and sports betting ($146.3 million). The state’s cut from those winnings was a combined $93.4 million.
The ‘Big 3’ show out, but no records fall
FanDuel Casino, DraftKings, and BetMGM accounted for 55.5% of iGaming revenue in November, with all posting double-digit percentage gains compared to 12 months ago. FanDuel fell just short of its October record in crossing $60 million for the second straight month. It was also up 25.9% versus November 2024, and the $593.6 million in 2025 winnings represents a 30% increase.
DraftKings has spent the year chasing its record haul of $51.3 million established last December, but November’s total of $49.6 million is a high-water mark for 2025. That was up 17.7% from last year and outpaced its 11.6% rise in year-to-date winnings at $517.5 million.
BetMGM easily claimed the final podium spot but had some drama in extending its streak of $30 million in winnings to seven as it finished $629,800 above the benchmark. That was an 11.2% bump from 2024 and dragged down its year-to-date surge to 30.9% with $339.1 million in revenue.
The Borgata’s internal platform rounded out the quartet of operators to surpass $20 million, extending that streak to four months with $20.6 million. With $229.7 million, the bellcow of the brick-and-mortar scene in Atlantic City has exceeded its digital revenue haul from 2024.
Caesars and Hard Rock make gains
Caesars Palace had its best month since the New Jersey DGE began publishing monthly figures by operator at $19.3 million. The 46.5% year-over-year surge was the highest among operators generating at least $10 million in revenue.
Hard Rock rounded out the group of six for eight-figure revenue hauls at $13.4 million, up 36.8% while falling short of a third straight month with $14 million or more.
Fanatics Casino continued its yo-yo tendencies in November, going from a record $13 million in October to $8.2 million. Fanatics had a near four-fold increase in winnings from June to July and a near 50% plunge in revenue from August to September. Fanatics followed with a 154.3% increase in October before the pendulum swung the other direction with a 36.9% decline.
Golden Nugget was thwarted in its bid for back-to-back $10 million monthly totals, finishing $336,000 shy while also crossing $100 million in year-to-date winnings.
