We don’t recommend getting all messed up on drugs with your younger brother and regrettably playing online casino together and then waking up horrified by what you’ve done.
But, if you’re going to do that, you may as well do it on Fanatics Casino.
That is very much not the narrative of the new Fanatics Casino ad campaign, but, hey, when you build a commercial around Patrick Schwarzenegger lounging in a pool like he’s on vacation at a White Lotus property, you’re kinda begging people to go there in their minds.
The actual ad copy places Schwarzenegger — 32-year-old son of Arnold Schwarzenegger and Maria Shriver, married just this month to model Abby Champion — atop a spinning float in a swimming pool, explaining how FanCash Spins work.
“You can spin anywhere,” Schwarzenegger says in the ad. “But only Fanatics Casino has FanCash Spins, a game that lets you spin for free every day.”
Schwarzenegger proceeds to announce that in October, there’s also a progressive FanCash Jackpot available, beginning at a payout of $25,000 and increasing from there. It’s part of an advertised $4 million in rewards available over the course of the month (at least $100,000 every day) at the online casino, which is available in New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Michigan, and West Virginia.
“I’ve done some weird stuff on set before, but spinning in circles for hours is near the top of the list,” Schwarzenegger said after filming the ad, according to a Fanatics Casino press release. “If I’m laughing this hard while getting dizzy on camera, imagine how good it feels when you’re playing for real rewards.”
Developed in partnership with Anomaly and OBB Media, the commercial is part of Fanatics’ “Explained By” series, which previously starred Livvy Dunne promoting Fanatics Sportsbook.
Fanatics Casino climbing the ranks
“Our vision is for Fanatics Casino to become the preferred choice for slot players by setting a new standard for player experience, innovation, and rewards,” said Fanatics Betting and Gaming CMO Selena Kalvaria in the press release. “In a category known for flashing lights, noise and bouncing coins, Patrick Schwarzenegger’s effortless charm and confidence brings our brand to life with a memorable explanation of playing FanCash Spins on Fanatics Casino.”
The Schwarzenegger ad campaign is slated to run across video and audio channels, including linear TV, streaming networks, and podcasts.
In May, Fanatics launched a standalone casino app in all four states where the regulated iCasino operates. For the previous four years, Fanatics Casino was available as part of a shared app with the sports betting product.
Fanatics Casino has been steadily rising this year in the revenue rankings. In Michigan, it topped its own state revenue records every month from May through August, and in New Jersey, the online casino’s revenue topped $10 million in revenue in July and August.
