High 5 Casino entered into a partnership with Xpoint to integrate geolocation compliance technology into its platform.

The agreement allows High 5, one of North America’s social casino operators, to use Xpoint’s geolocation solution to verify player locations and maintain compliance with state requirements. The integration includes Xpoint Lite, which provides real-time geolocation verification and anti-fraud capabilities to restrict play to appropriate jurisdictions.

“When High 5 Entertainment approached us in October of last year, we were excited by the opportunity to help a social casino leader comply with state regulations related to geolocation by integrating our platform, which allows operators to determine player locations using a variety of signals and sensors while also identifying if location fraud is taking place,” said Manu Gambhir, CEO of Xpoint.

Of course, geolocation is quickly becoming a secondary concern for social and sweepstakes operators, as numerous states have made moves to ban the action.

California is the latest to introduce legislation to knock these businesses out of state, following in the footsteps of New York, where legislators passed a bill to ban the operators. New Jersey legislators are close behind.

With that in mind, it’s still a big world.

      How and where

“We built our platform so that operators like High 5 Entertainment can choose exactly how and where they want to comply, giving them full control over their regulatory footprint,” Gambhir said. “This integration was one of the fastest we’ve ever executed, demonstrating Xpoint’s ability to serve not only regulated operators but also leading social casino, sweepstakes, and DFS platforms.”

High 5 Casino selected Xpoint after conducting due diligence on available options.

“As one of the most established gaming brands in the U.S., we take compliance incredibly seriously,” said Gino Fratto, VP of product at High 5 Casino. “Our players trust us not only to entertain them but to protect them, and that includes only allowing gameplay from eligible locations. After extensive due diligence, we chose to partner with Xpoint because of their deep expertise, industry leadership, and responsiveness.

“At High 5, we are committed to setting the standard for safe, compliant gaming. We believe this level of geolocation rigor should be the norm, not the exception, and we hope other operators in the social casino and sweepstakes space will follow our lead.”

The partnership follows other operational changes by High 5 Casino, including the deployment of AI-based personalization tools and the expansion of its customer support team.
