Pennsylvania's Second-Highest Online Casino Month Helps State To New Overall Record
May's iCasino revenue of $254.8 million was part of $625.5 million gaming total

Pennsylvania’s 23 online casino sites posted the state’s second-highest iGaming revenue month ever in May, with the $254.8 million representing a 9.4% increase over the prior year.
The $254.8 million reported Wednesday by the Pennsylvania Gaming Control Board, an adjusted revenue figure after deductions for promotions, trailed only the $259.7 million reported in December. Last month’s gross revenue figure was $321.1 million.
The revenue from online slots, table games, and poker helped the state to a new monthly record of $625.5 million from all types of commercial gaming in Pennsylvania, slightly surpassing the former high in January.
In a state that taxes gambling operators at a relatively high rate — more than 40% on a blended basis — the resulting tax collected in May was $270 million, with $117.7 million of that coming from iCasinos as opposed to brick-and-mortar casinos, sports betting, truck stop VGTs, and sports fantasy contests.
Online slots play was the big driver of a revenue increase, as it rose 14.3% to $202.5 million last month from $177.2 million in May 2025. The operators’ win at online tables, meanwhile, decreased 5.8% to $49.9 million, and online poker revenue fell 9.7% to $2.5 million.
Hollywood Casino and partners near $100M
Pennsylvania does not report revenue from individual sites — only that of the 11 license-holders, which can have multiple skins. Penn Entertainment’s Hollywood Casino, which also provides iGaming access for DraftKings, BetMGM, and Fanatics, again led with $98.9 million in revenue. That was a 9.7% increase over May 2025.
Valley Forge Casino Resort, which partners with FanDuel, saw revenue of $69.9 million in May, up 8.9%.
Rush Street’s Rivers Casino, primarily earning revenue through the BetRivers brand, collected $40.8 million, a 10.5% increase year-over-year.
Among the major operators, however, the biggest gain of 33.5% was made by Harrah’s Philadelphia and the Caesars-connected brands, resulting in revenue of $14.9 million for the month.
Following in revenue last month were Golden Nugget with $7.6 million; Parx Casino with $6.8 million; Bally’s Pennsylvania with $5.5 million; Presque Isle Downs and Casino (bet365 as partner) with $4.9 million; Mohegan Pennsylvania with $2.4 million; Live! Casino with $2 million; and Wind Creek Bethlehem with $1.1 million.
