Pennsylvania's Online Casinos Reaped More In August Than A Year Earlier, Less Than The Month Prior
The $245.7 million in iCasino earnings was about 43% of total gaming revenue in the state

Pennsylvania’s online casino sector continued showing its overall growth with August’s financial data, even if the operators’ collective revenue was off slightly from the month before.
The monthly report issued by the Pennsylvania Gaming Control Board Thursday showed $245.7 million in revenue (after promotional deductions) from the 23 online sites last month, a 6.2% increase over August 2025. The figure in July was $249 million, or 1.3% higher than August. The state’s record is $259.7 million from last December.
Most other forms of legal gambling showed year-over-year decline in Pennsylvania, with overall gaming revenue totaling $569.7 million, off 2.2% from August 2025. Retail casino slots and table games slacked off 5.8% to $280.3 million in combined revenue, and adjusted monthly sports wagering revenue of $39.4 million after promotional deductions was down 19.9%.
Of the $245.7 million in combined monthly revenue, $195.2 million came from online slots, $48.1 million from online table games, and $2.4 million from iPoker. Those provided the state with $113.5 million in tax revenue as a portion of the $249 million in government taxes provided from all legal gaming in Pennsylvania, a relatively high-tax state.
FanDuel fared less well than others
Pennsylvania reports iCasino revenue of the 11 license-holders, rather than individual operators and sites. With the exception of Valley Forge Casino Resort, through which FanDuel is licensed, the top tier all showed substantial year-over-year revenue growth while narrowly failing to match July’s numbers.
Penn Entertainment’s Hollywood Casino, whose revenue includes its own two iCasino brands plus what’s earned by DraftKings, BetMGM, and Fanatics Casino as partners, showed $95.4 million in August revenue, up 11.6% from a year ago.
Rush Street Interactive, with two brands under the Rivers Casino license plus revenue from its Borgata Casino partnership, reported $39.9 million in revenue, a 9% increase.
Four Caesars sites operating under the Harrah’s Casino license combined for $14.2 million, up 9.2%.
The $67.5 million for the month from Valley Forge and FanDuel, meanwhile, was off 0.2% from the year before.
The lower tier of online casino sites showed some notable jumps and setbacks in comparisons with 2025.
The $5.4 million in Bally’s revenue represented 54.9% growth, and $4.3 million reported by Presque Isle Downs and Casino from its bet365 partner was 31.2% more than in August 2025. Still higher growth came from Mohegan Pennsylvania, whose $3 million was 71.4% higher.
On the flip side, the $1.9 million from Live! Casino was off 49.8% and $1.2 million from Wind Creek Bethlehem was off 45.4%.
Of other operators, Golden Nugget’s $7.6 million was a 1.7% increase and Parx Casino’s $5.4 million was up 6.1%.
