Michigan Online Casinos Top $300M For Fifth Straight Month In July
FanDuel widened its lead over BetMGM as operators reported slight increase against June

Michigan's online casinos’ revenue nudged back up in July, and they're still running well ahead of last year.
Michigan's 15 online casinos combined for $302.8 million in gross receipts in July, according to numbers released by the Michigan Gaming Control Board Tuesday. That number is up a few bucks from June's $301.2 million, but what’s more noteworthy is this marked the fifth month in a row above the $300 million threshold. Previous to this run, the state’s iCasinos had cleared $300 million exactly once.
Unsurprisingly, everything is up year-over-year. July gross receipts rose 20.9% over July 2025. Adjusted gross receipts, which strip out what operators spend on promotions and bonuses, came in at $290.6 million, up 23.6% from a year ago. Taxes paid to the state hit $61.2 million, up 24.4%, marking the fifth straight month online casino taxes topped $60 million.
As far as records go, July did not get there, as March 2026 still owns top honors. That month saw $322.1 million in gross receipts, $309.1 million in adjusted gross receipts, and $64.1 million in state taxes.
Through the first seven months of 2026, Michigan's online casinos have generated $2.1 billion in gross receipts. If that pace holds, the state will finish the year around $3.6 billion, which would be quite the bump from 2025’s $3.087 billion.
The breakdown
The order at the top didn't budge in July, with FanDuel pacing the pack at $74.6 million in revenue. BetMGM was second at $63.1 million, and DraftKings held third at $43.1 million.
What moved is the space between the top two, with FanDuel increasing the gap. In June, FanDuel's lead over BetMGM had shrunk to $5.8 million. In July it stretched back out to $11.4 million, with FanDuel up $2.5 million on the month and BetMGM down $3.1 million.
DraftKings remains a distant third, though it went the right direction. Its $43.1 million was an improvement over June's $41.5 million, but it's still running well behind FanDuel and $20 million behind BetMGM.
The next group held its order. BetRivers led the tier at $22.4 million, followed by Hard Rock Bet at $21.7 million, Fanatics at $19 million, and Caesars at $16.1 million. BetRivers and Fanatics slipped a little from June while Hard Rock and Caesars picked up a little, but the order didn’t move.
Below them, three operators bunched together right around the $8 million mark, with bet365 ticking up to $8.8 million in its fourth month operating in Michigan. Golden Nugget went the other way again — after bouncing back to $10.6 million in June, it fell to $8.5 million in July. Hollywood Casino climbed to $8.2 million from $7.2 million.
The rest of the field stayed under $5 million: BetPARX at $4.4 million, Soaring Eagle at $4 million, FireKeepers at $4 million, Caesars Horseshoe at $2.8 million, and Four Winds at $2 million.
