FanDuel again extended its state record for monthly online casino revenue after the New Jersey Division of Gaming Enforcement reported on Thursday total statewide iGaming operator winnings of $272.1 million for March.
That total, which represented an 11.6% increase from last year, came within $1.2 million of the all-time high of $273.2 million reported last December. New Jersey iGaming operators also extended their streak with $250 million or more to six consecutive months.
Despite the softer double-digit percentage increase, internet casino gaming continued to easily outpace the other verticals in New Jersey. Atlantic City casino revenue increased only 2.5% to $236.7 million, while Garden State sportsbooks had a 22.8% bump to $87.6 million.
The $596.4 million in combined revenue was up 9.2% from a year ago as the state collected $95.6 million in total gaming taxes.
FanDuel shines again for Golden Nugget
FanDuel is the only New Jersey iGaming operator to surpass $60 million in monthly revenue, first doing so last October. In surpassing that threshold for the first time in 2026, the $62.7 million claimed bettered its previous high of $61.9 million in December and was an increase of 20% from March 2025.
That helped its Atlantic City tether, Golden Nugget, become the first license-holder to surpass $80 million in monthly winnings. That number, up 12% year-over-year, also got a boost from BetRivers. The Rush Street Interactive platform pulled in $11.7 million, reaching eight figures for the first time since the DGE began publishing monthly figures in 2024.
Overall, seven skins set new monthly all-time highs in March. Hard Rock as an internet casino skin and license-holder did the double for record highs; its internal platform had a record $18.4 million windfall and totaled $21.9 million when second skin bet365 also had its best month with a $3.4 million haul.
Hard Rock also disclosed its promotional spend for the first time since August 2023 in its monthly filings with the state, showing $5.3 million in promotional credits wagered for March.
On a smaller scale, Ocean Casino duplicated Hard Rock’s feat as its two skins each set monthly highs and combined for $6.1 million in winnings. Playstar collected $3.3 million, up 25.4% from the previous year as it cleared $3 million for only the third time.
Mohegan Sun, one of five skins tethered to Resorts Digital, notched $1.8 million in winnings. While technically not an all-time high for Penn Entertainment skins, theScore Bet had its best month since entering the marketplace in November with $3.1 million.
Everyone chasing FanDuel
The Borgata was a distant second among license-holders with $59.9 million, its second-best month behind the $64.3 million claimed last December. BetMGM totaled $34.9 million as its 10.4% year-over-year increase helped offset a 6% downturn in winnings by the Borgata’s internal platform to $21.1 million.
In between FanDuel and BetMGM was DraftKings, whose $48.3 million haul was down 2.8% from a year ago. The $37.5 million gap in first-quarter revenue between FanDuel and DraftKings is nearly four times higher compared to first-quarter results from 2025.
Hard Rock’s record effort left it $150,000 shy of topping Caesars Palace ($18.6 million) for fifth, though it was a 55.8% increase from last year. Fanatics more than doubled its winnings from last March at $12.7 million, and BetRivers rounded out the group of eight operators to accumulate $10 million or more in monthly winnings.
