BetMGM Launches Game Of Thrones Slot In Four US States
For those who still aren't over the Red Wedding, perhaps this game will help heal the pain
Winter is coming. And BetMGM is helping players brace for the cold with the American launch of its Game of Thrones slot.
From White Hat Studios, the game debuted in Canada earlier this year and did record-breaking numbers.
Now, players in New Jersey, Michigan, Pennsylvania, and West Virginia (and, we suppose, Westeros) can try their luck at the six-reel slot at BetMGM. (New Jersey and Pennsylvania residents can also access the game at Borgata Online.)
The game was developed by Warner Bros. Discovery Global Experiences in partnership with Blueprint Gaming.

Nuts and bolts
The game, as mentioned, was and remains a big hit in Canada, with Eilers & Krejcik Gaming ranking it fifth among Canada’s top-performing new online casino game launches.
As for the game itself, players work their way toward the Iron Throne, unlocking features tied to Houses Stark, Lannister, Baratheon, and Targaryen along the way. Progress carries over between sessions, so nobody has to conquer Westeros in one sitting.
The slot offers 4,096 ways to win, with a “money collect” feature that changes as players unlock each House’s powers. There are also dragons that modify gameplay because … well, it would be a pretty disappointing Game of Thrones slot without dragons.
Landing three or more Bonus symbols triggers the Iron Throne Bonus, which awards 10 Iron Throne Spins and potential cash prizes. Fixed jackpots range from the Mini at 20x to the Mega at 2,500x, with Minor (50x) and Major (200x) prizes in between.
And once players reach the Iron Throne? They start the journey again. Apparently, keeping the big seat remains a problem.
There will be a series of promos and rewards tied to the launch of the game, including a $25,000 leaderboard competition from Oct. 5-11 at BetMGM. At Borgata, meanwhile, 10 million spins will be doled out to lucky customers.
