Rush Street Launches Multi-State Poker In Delaware, Michigan, And West Virginia

Rush Street Interactive, Inc. Tuesday announced the launch of its BetRivers Poker platform in Delaware, Michigan, and West Virginia, creating a unified player pool across four states.

The expansion follows the platform’s debut in Pennsylvania in November. The multi-state network allows players to compete across state lines, resulting in larger tournament prize pools and more consistent access to active tables.

“The launch of a unified cross-state player pool significantly enhances the BetRivers Poker experience,” Richard Schwartz, CEO of RSI, said in a press release. “By expanding the network, we’ll bring more players to our tables, offer a wider variety of games, and raise the stakes with larger tournament prize pools. We’re thrilled to strengthen our poker footprint and deliver best-in-class competition and community-driven play across multiple states.”

The company plans to launch BetRivers Poker in New Jersey later this year. The platform remains integrated with Rivers Casinos in Pennsylvania for in-person poker and live events.

The pros speak

The platform was developed with input from poker professional Phil Galfond, who helped design gameplay features and rewards systems.

I’ve been involved from day one to help shape BetRivers Poker into a platform that delivers the best possible player experience.”

The company also announced that Phil Hellmuth, a 17-time World Series of Poker champion, has joined the platform.

“I’ve won more bracelets than anyone in history because I know how poker players think and BetRivers delivers what they want: real competition, big moments, and a championship experience,” said Hellmuth.

The platform offers cash games, sit & go tournaments, and multi-table tournaments. Features include dynamic avatars that react to gameplay and Cub3d Sit & Go tournaments where players can win up to 1,500 times their buy-in.

According to PokerFuse, two important milestones were hit with this announcement: Delaware poker players are back in the game after 18 months without online poker, and this marks the first time West Virginia players can belly up to the virtual table.

It’s also the first simultaneous online poker launch among three states.
