On the heels of an all-time state record of $251.1 million in adjusted gross online casino revenue in October, Pennsylvania iGaming operators couldn’t quite re-break it in November. But they came close, and they did play a major role in pushing total gaming revenue in the Keystone State to a record $623.1 million, the Pennsylvania Gaming Control Board announced Wednesday.

The online casino revenue tally came in at $242.7 million, up 21% over November 2024 but down about $8.4 million from the previous month. Of course, October has 31 days and November has 30, so on a per-day basis, the iCasino hauls were virtually identical.

The total gaming revenue for the month was up 10.8% year-over-year and marked a 3.5% improvement over the previous single-month record of $601.8 million set in May. That total includes operator winnings via retail slot machines and table games, online slots and tables, retail and online sports betting, fantasy contests, and video gaming terminals (VGTs).

Pennsylvania collected $260.9 million in tax revenue from November gaming.

      Multiple partners give Penn edge

As usual, Hollywood Casino at Penn National Race Course led the way in iGaming revenue — a position made possible by the fact that DraftKings Casino, BetMGM Casino, and the online version of Hollywood Casino are all tethered to the one land-based property. That Penn license collected $91.3 million in revenue in November from virtual slots, table games, and poker.

Valley Forge Casino Resort (FanDuel Casino) was next with $70.9 million, followed by Rivers Casino Philadelphia (BetRivers) with $38.2 million. Harrah’s Philadelphia (Caesars Palace Online) was the only other licensee into eight figures at $13.4 million.

Across all operators, online slots accounted for $185.4 million in revenue, digital tables $55.1 million, and online poker $2.3 million.

Resulting tax revenue came out to $109.2 million. So iGaming produced 41.9% of the state’s tax revenue while generating 39% of the operator revenue.

Land-based casino, sports betting, and more

On the brick-and-mortar side, slots generated $201.2 million for the month of November and table games produced $74.7 million. Both figures were down year-over-year. Slots declined a mere 0.1%, while tables fell 3.6%.

There were no surprises in terms of the properties leading the way. Parx Casino and Wind Creek Bethlehem are almost always 1-2, with Parx tops in slots and Wind Creek the leader for table games. Indeed, those patterns held in November.

Sports betting handle, meanwhile, was an all-time state record of $990.6 million. The way the calendar fell, there were five Saturdays and five Sundays in November, which explains the wagering increase. Total sports betting revenue came in at $98.3 million.

Fantasy sports produced another $2.5 million in revenue, up 2.8% year-over-year. DraftKings was the runaway leader with $1.74 million, followed by FanDuel with $567,000 and Underdog at $213,000.

Regulated truck stop VGTs garnered another $3.53 million, up 8.9% over November 2024.
