The Pennsylvania Gaming Control Board (PGCB) reported on Wednesday $239.9 million in adjusted gross online casino revenue for February as slot winnings powered year-over-year gains for Keystone State platforms.

Gross revenue before promotional deductions totaled $298.4 million, up 15.2% from last year despite ending a four-month run of topping $300 million. Adjusted gross revenue increased 15.5% from February 2025, and the $7.54 billion drop represented a bump of 7.4%. Keystone State bettors have wagered more than $350 billion online since digital casino play launched in July 2019.

The state collected $71.9 million in tax receipts, an increase of nearly $12 million from last year.

The PGCB reported $547.1 million across all gaming verticals for February, an increase of 14.6% compared to last year.

Slot play continues to surge

Pennsylvania has one of the most robust iGaming scenes in the country, and as the only state of the "Big 3" among New Jersey and Michigan that publishes drop figures (another word for betting handle), early stats from 2026 show bettors trying more to strike it big via digital slots.

The $4.78 billion played was up 14% from last year, and it was also the fourth-highest monthly drop in state history. Despite the shortened February, operators extended their streak of $250 million in gross slot win to three months; the $252.1 million reported was up 21.1% from 2025. The $191.5 million in taxable revenue, meanwhile, was an increase of 24.1%.

All-time online slot drop cleared $200 billion with February's figures, and the $9.72 billion played the first two months of 2026 is up 15.3% from the same period last year.

Penn Entertainment continues to be the gold standard for slot revenue. Its $92.7 million in gross winnings was up 29.3%, slightly lagging behind the 31.6% year-over-year surge in AGR to $71.3 million. Penn, which counts DraftKings and BetMGM among its online skins in Pennsylvania, has had three consecutive months of $90 million in gross slot winnings and $70 million AGR.

It was a similar story for Valley Forge, which boasts FanDuel as its top digital casino platform. It also enjoyed double,-digit growth in both revenue metrics: Gross winnings were up 24.3% to $72.6 million and AGR climbed 24.4% to nearly $51 million. Slot drop rose 15.3% to a monthly all-time high of $1.39 billion.

The increase in slot wagering is coming at perhaps slight expense of action on the virtual felt. Wagering on craps, blackjack, roulette, and the like was down 2.4% from last year to $2.76 billion. Players, however, appeared to fare better than the previous February as the $46.2 million claimed was 9.2% lower.

Check out those gains

Eight of the 12 casino tethers offering iGaming reported double-digit, year-over-year increases in AGR. Hollywood Casino led the pack in revenue at $77.6 million, an increase of 19.4% from 2025.

Harrah's Philadelphia, home to Caesars Palace Online, had the biggest percentage increase among the four operators to make at least $10 million. The $14.8 million haul was up 51.2% and ranked third overall.

Valley Forge posted a 13.1% increase to $64 million, and BetRivers saw a 12.9% rise to $38.7 million operating through Rivers Philadelphia. Golden Nugget rounded out the top five for AGR with $7.4 million, which was down 0.7% from 12 months prior. Presque Isle, where bet365 is tethered, had a 65.8% bounce in taxable winnings to $4.4 million.
